Born 22nd January 1977, Yamanashi, Japan. Japanese midfield footballer voted Asian Player of The Year in 1998. The first Japanese player to be signed by a Serie A club when Perugia bought him from Bellmore Hiratsuka. Now a regular for Roma, Hidetoshi is adored by Japanese football fans.
He has come to our attention for his flirtation with red hair dye in 1999.
