Adam Putnam
Born Bartow, Florida 1973. Became the youngest Republican congressman ever to be elected to the US Congress when he took his place as representative for the 12th district of Florida in November 2000. Has risen to prominence within the US administration since the September 11th attacks
Walter Reuther
1st Sept 1907 - 19th May 1970. The original Working Class hero, Walter was the most important US union leader of all time and worked tirelessly winning benefits, pensions and health care for US workers. Killed in a plane crash.
Arthur Scargill
Much misunderstood President of the National Union of Mineworkers whose stock has dropped somewhat since the early 1980’s when he led a one-man assault on all things Thatcher. Has been known to use the occasional burst of hairspray to keep that Red top just so.
Leon Trotsky
26th Oct 1879 - 20th Aug 1940. Alongside fellow Red Redhead Lenin, Trotsky (born Lev Bronstein) was the greatest Marxist of the 20th century. A great orator, he almost single handedly directed the Soviet Union into communist reform. Struck down by an ice-pick wielding agent of Stalin in Mexico.
Malcolm X
Born Malcolm Little 19th May 1925 in Omaha.
Became involved in the civil rights movement, rejoicing under the title of 'The angriest black man in the US'. Followed the Muslim faith, changing his name to El-Hajj Malik El-Shabazz. Assassinated by Black Muslims in Harlem on 21st February 1965.
